We're Shred Heads!
With nearly 20 years of experience in the shredding industry, our leading software, Shred-Logix, was built by a Shred Head, for Shred Heads like you! Cousins Criss Frost and William F. Becker Jr. started their shredding journey in February 2006 in Metro Detroit with just one truck and no customers. Through exceptional service and quick responsiveness, they grew their business—surviving the challenges of the Great Recession that hit Detroit hard. To adapt, they became resourceful and efficient, creating tools that helped them scale their operation to multiple trucks, a 15,000-square-foot facility, a paper baling operation, a records center, and an office.
Born with Shredding DNA!
Before founding the shredding company, Criss Frost’s expertise lay in IT management, business process improvement, and business integration, where he led multi-million-dollar projects across a range of industries. After selling their shredding business, Criss became frustrated with the lack of effective tools available for shredding operations. Drawing on his background in both technology and shredding, he co-founded Propel (now Propel Advantage) in 2015. The mission was clear: to develop an all-inclusive web application, Shred-Logix, designed to provide a visual and streamlined way to manage shredding and records storage businesses.
Propelling Forward!
With valuable input from fellow Shred Heads, Shred-Logix has evolved and grown with over 3,000 updates exclusively for the shredding industry. Our customers have played a crucial role in shaping Propel Advantage’s Shred-Logix, offering new ideas and solutions that benefit the entire community. With updates released nearly every week, Shred-Logix is not a rebranded collection of tools—we own and develop all our code in-house, welcoming your ideas to continually enhance the platform and simplify your shredding business!
